Well we are here at last. Altogether it took 28 hours to get here. Once we had dumped everything in our hostel, showered and changed we went out to get our barings. We met up with a friend for a drink then came back and collapsed.
Yesterday we went to the sky tower.
You can see it from all over Auckland and is about a 20 minute stroll from our hostel. The views were amazing. People were walking around on the outside and even jumping off. We settled for a nice drink whilst looking at the view.
We then went down to the front and found a lovely place for lunch. Having worn ourselves out we returned to the hostel and slept for about 16 hours.
