We decided to drive up to 90 mile beach stopping to look at Haruru Falls and then Kerikeri where the second oldest mission is. There is also the Stone Store, the oldest surviving stone house built 1835.
Rewa's Village, a reconstructed pre-European Maori fishing village is nearby. This is a typical sleeping house and a food store.
